I am that classmate who has joined late. My name is Shelby Merry and I am super pumped to be in this class. I am 19 years old and from small town, Hickman, Nebraska. I am not super experienced with UNL online learning but have taken an online course through an Omaha college last semester. I really enjoyed having the flexibility and it really made me have to make sure I was managing my time well. I am in Intercultural communication not only because I am a comm major but I am really interested in the communication between cultures. Obviously communication is one of the most important things so leanring to communicate well with people that are like and unlike you is extremely important. I'm looking forward to learning more and improving my own communication skills through this class.
I really enjoy communication in general. I love being around my friends, meeting new people and building new relationships. I love being involved, weather that's with the community or the university. I'm really interested in doing more traveling in the future, and exploring more of this lovely place we live on.
I also don't really have any photos of just myself, I found out while searching for some to post on there.
